During childhood, construction and home renovation was modelled by her father. Surprisingly, Woodbabi showed little interest in attaining these skills. Rather, she invested in the arts and various athletic endeavors.

In high school, Woodbabi's art portfolio was showcased in NYC which led her to pursue a double major in Fine Art and Photography with a minor in Philosophy. During this time she was also a member of the University soccer and track+field team. While also setting the all time university powerlifting record.

Post university, she worked as a NASM certified personal trainer and later as a High School art teacher. Virtual teaching during Covid unknowingly prepared her to later be comfortable on camera for streaming and YouTube.

Burnt out from teaching, Woodbabi quit her job to launch Stain and Ink, a storefront for her creations. Starting with a tiny 10x8 garden shed she delved into the world of woodworking while live streaming the entire experience.

Woodbabi Builds is an extension of Stain and Ink as it encompasses her other endeavors in content creation as well. This includes auto mechanic, home repair, modelling, fitness, and so much more.
