HANDMADE

All Stain and Ink products are 100% handmade and due to the natural materials used, each product may vary slightly from the product photograph. Every piece of wood is completely unique in terms of grain, colour, markings and knots but I do my absolute best to carefully select and match the wood so products are consistent. I use high quality hardwoods at all times which has been dried to the correct moisture content. Very occasionally, warping, shrinking or dimensional changes can happen due to wood being a natural, active material and can be affected by moisture, temperature and humidity. If any movement in the wood should occur, making alterations to temperature and moisture usually rectifies this issue. As we are working with natural materials, it is normal to see signs of some movement during its lifetime. 

Since the Items are handmade per order, expect processing time to range 2-4 weeks depending on the item and customization requested.

 

AFTERCARE

To ensure your piece retains its beauty and can stand the test of time, annual maintenance is recommended. Each order is supplied with an aftercare postcard, advising you on how to do so. Preserving your piece can vary depending on how often it is used and how carefully it is treated.

Once you have received your purchase confirmation, you will have entered into a purchase contract with me. In the unlikely event that there is a pricing error or the products are no longer available, I will notify you of this. In this instance, you will not receive a confirmation email and therefore there will be no contract between us. 

I ensure my products are personally quality checked before leaving my workshop but please inspect your item on arrival and do not accept unless you are certain they have arrived in good condition. If you receive your goods and they turn out to be damaged, the courier company will not assume liability. In order to keep your item in the best condition possible during transit, they are carefully packaged to avoid damage.
