The Butterfly Board earns its name from the slim brass inlay set into its grain like a maker's signature. Turned from a single round of locally sourced oak or walnut and finished satin-smooth, it's equal parts serving board and quiet centerpiece — the piece that draws a comment before the first slice is cut. A two-inch handle makes it easy to carry loaded from kitchen to table, and just as easy to hang when it's not in use. Because each is made to order, the grain and color you receive are yours alone. This item is made with naturual materials. If cared for properly, it will last for generations to come. Avoid excessive water exposure and humidity changes. If necessary, use a damp cloth with a small amount of soap to clean.

It is heavily encouraged to apply a wood wax or oil to the surface every 6-8 months with a soft cloth to maintain the integrity of the piece.
